A few weeks I read fungi can communicate in ways more than we can comprehend; or in other words we didn't know existed - because I will say time & time again what I have said throughout these 22 blog posts so far & that is I am constantly being astounded by new things I read & learn - I am beginning to be less surprised, that is not to say I don't smile in amazement what I read. After all this kingdom is the least explored in human research, a point Peter McCoy (of grassroots organisation Radical Mycology which helping to place research at the hands of people not wearing white coats, "mycophiles" even) who explains is a major reason for this. Mycology is largely lab based with expensive setups - maybe this stage is shifting; we know it is but not enough in terms of the when thinking about the environment, but let's hope we can keep this growing. computer scientist Andrew Adamatzky
