I'd like to say I've been doing photography most of my life - & I can say being alone with fungi & trees I find presence within myself I have never felt; this is where I can see my creativity flourish. Just as this environment is as raw & authentic, are my lungs open & my senses alive. Capturing life of fungi & treescapes, it is my boundless push into furthering my adventures into these places fulfilling my curiosity of the wonders I continue to discover.

Documenting the sentience of the many wonderous beings I encounter through my photography, words can't really explain those feelings. Explicating these moods through the eye of the lens, I can only give my purest of sincere gratitude for these souls being so naturally artistic & photogenic. I feel this work carries so much personal value & also duty.

This artform has allowed me to venture many habitats & unfortunately like many of us, also seen the demise of many; for me particularly forests & woodlands. This is one of the reasons that has inspired my "Art & Design". It is purposed toward sustainability at it's root; for example the woodwork is sourced from a local wood recycling charity, with much of the work carried out by hand; & eco-friendly consumables. You can see more of this work under Projects. The blog is another impact of my photography & mirrors the same values. And although this is centered around my photography, it definitely coheres with the environment & what we can do to heal earth. I think at the end of it we have to take notation from the words of ecologist John Todd of how he said education is too much taught around searching for the problems rather than the solutions.
